Mario Cafiero
President/Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Mario Cafiero assumed the role of President / Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Aleut Facilities Support Services, LLC (AFSS) in September 2010.  As President, he serves as the executive authority with overall management responsibility for operating the company as an independent subsidiary of Aleut Management Services, including customer service, profitability, revenue growth, strategic planning, and productivity. 

Mr. Cafiero served over 30 years as an Air Force officer, aviator, and commander, culminating his career as Chief of Staff for Pacific Air Forces in 2002.  His experience in the defense industry and private sector spans a wide range of leadership positions in business development and program management, including Vice President for Strategic Development of an international private equity firm where he enhanced the operations and profitability of numerous multi-million dollar investment holdings. 

As President/COO, he leads several teams of professionals supporting Federal and State Government contracts across the United States.  These contracts provide facility support, logistics, communications, and IT support for Federal and State Government agencies.

Mr. Cafiero holds a Master of Science degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Technology from Arizona State University.
